Yesterday a colleague of mine was on the phone to an owner of a self-catering property. I overheard them having a really in-depth conversation regarding the importance of marketing all year round. This customer told us that although she closed her business down over the winter, she turned her attention instead to marketing. She used her ‘down time’ to make sure that she started the new season fully booked!
And the moral of the story is?
Your marketing communications should keep your seasonal customers engaged no matter what the calendar says. Because when they are ready to buy, you want them to come back to your business.
